I've searched the web for that error code and have only found a result indicating that the user should just subscribe to Photoshop Creative Cloud. Per the suggestion in the error message, I have in fact "tried again later" because I've tried many times over several days and that has not resolved matter. There was an error downloading this update. Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Photoshop CS5 When I do that, I get this error message: Adobe recommends updating Photoshop from within the program through the "Help" menu. Significantly, Adobe released the important "12.0.4" update that specifically fixed a crash issue related to "Type," so the solution to my problem apparently is close at hand - however, I cannot in fact get that update to install. ![]() I've researched this matter at some length and am hopeful it can in fact be resolved because other users have gotten Photoshop CS5 to work well with Mojave. I've pasted the (lengthy) crash report below under the heading "PHOTOSHOP QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY" ERROR LOG WHEN I SELECT THE TEXT TOOL. Photoshop CS5 worked fine on Mac's High Sierra OS, but when I did a clean install of the new Mojave operating system on my Mac Pro and installed Photoshop CS5 it crashes whenever I select the "Type" or "text tool" functionality.
